Feeding people for over 25 years..

For A Fare to Remember at Home‘s Owner, Jeanne Lewis, it’s not just about “preparing delicious food”, it’s about forming relationships with people in the community, people she cares about.  Jeanne started A Fare to Remember over 25 years ago, but prior to that she was a trained chef at some of Pittsburgh’s finest restaurants.  After years of catering, she wanted to create a place busy people could come and get home-cooked food and enjoy it with their families, AT HOME, no muss, no fuss.

Years later, in addition to the various monthly selections that change each month, Fare @ Home also offers individual gourmet meals, for those that may live alone and want to enjoy homemade food too!

An avid supporter of women-owned businesses,  Fare @ Home also offers various products from other local businesses, including  Grandma Ann’s Nut Bread, and Speckled Hen.

Giving back to the community through gift card donations to various local organizations and schools, A Fare to Remember at Home is focused on PEOPLE.  Customers know that Jeanne and staff are always around, not only for delicious meals, but also a friendly smile and even a hug.
